Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis

My Approach

I am a therapist and social worker with in private practice. Currently I am licensed in Texas and Michigan and I see clients both virtually and in-person at my office in the Detroit metro area. My style is inquisitive, empathetic and thoughtful, with appropriate constructive feedback. My clinical practice is informed by psychoanalysis, attachment theory and trauma-focused therapies that approach mental health care holistically, focusing on your individual needs and challenges. I want to help you be your best version of yourself.

I see my role as a guide, helping you avoid pitfalls and pointing out new possibilities in the process of being you. Looking thoughtfully at where you have been and what you would like to achieve, we can move towards a life where you are better able to cope with the challenges that you face while more authentically expressing yourself.

I have over ten years experience in the mental health field, working in diverse settings such as academia, hospitals and research. I am currently a psychoanalytic candidate at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Previously I have served on the board of Austin Psychoanalytic in Austin, TX. Currently I am a member of the Michigan Council for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute and the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
